Pnei Yehoshua (פני יהושע) Research (researchers & material)

  1. Rabbi Pesach Eliyahu Falk

of Gateshead, a direct son-after-son descendent.
  2. Noam Finger

of New Haven, CT & Israel. He knows of descendants of the Pnei Yehoshua with the names Goldman and Diamant in Lwow. He also points out that there is a Geni.com profile that contains, in the sources tab, a tree (in German) of his descendants through his son Arye Leib. Listed there are some Galizianers. The Pnei Yehoshua is Noam's 7x-great-grandfather.
  3. Marcel Apsel

of Antwerp, Belgium, who connects via a maternal line.
  4. Michal Hendler

of Lakewood, NJ, who connects via her grandfather's mother (maiden name Stankower).
  5. Rivkah Sobel Weiss

is a descendant of Avraham, the brother of the Pnei Yehoshua

I saw your question on ravsig re. information on the descendants of the Pnei Yehoshua. Just in case you are not aware of it, there is a lot of information in Ateres Yehoshua by Dovid Aryeh Leib Tzintz (reprinted NY 5742), but it has no name index, so means looking through many pages of small print to see if there is anything on the families you are looking for.

There is also a genealogy of the Pnei Yehoshua written by the famed Rabbi Yosef Lewenstein of Serotsk, published in installments in Hapeles (הפלס) in 1902-1903, you can read it on Hebrewbooks.org starting on page 479.
When I first read it I found one section missing in the copy in JTS, and eventually found the missing part in the YU library…. but quite likely that in the 20 years since then they are all easily readable online
